Sup amigos! I did it! I did it! I completed my 20% project! I am so proud or myself its unreal!! Okay so my final idea showcase went great. Unlike most people I went up there and winged it and might I say I did very good at wigging it. Everyone thought I did great and my parents were so proud of me. So last time I talked to you I said that I had started or was in the middle of creating my project. Well that was a long time ago and many things have happened since then such as my mom deleted all of my work from her ipad! Yea, I know right I mean that was awful and I about though my life was over, but it wasn't I managed to get through it and complete and publish my game just in time. In fact I did so well that I couldn't even beat my own game! Well I finished everything, but one thing. And that's the actually presention to the kids. You see I ran out of time so my dad offered if I could do it in the beginning of summer and I said maybe because I have more school in the summer ( I got into this collage program i'm going to collage!!) anyway I said maybe so I'm going to see how it goes and if all goes well I will be own my way to creating great things! I hope to talk to you guys in the near future even more about the progress I have made so thanks for being there and listing to my problems for now see you later... BYE!!

Sup guys!! So like I said in my last post I have started my video game and its going great!! I have had a lot of trial and error, but it didn't take me long to figure them out. I am right now on my 3rd level and am having so much fun planning this out and figuring out how these kids really think. My mentors have been helping me so much and have gotten me to where I am today. I am so excited to show this all to the kids and see how they react to it all and I am still trying to figure out how to wrap it all up to connect to my lessons. I hope I get this done fast show I can have so much more fun with my project!

Hay guys! So I have completed everything I have to do for my project, now comes the fun part. Creating the video game! As you already know I have found a wonderful website that allows me to create my own video game based upon my presentation. I am now ready for the creative process! This weekend with the help from my mentors ( mom and dad ) I will being my video making and I hopefully will have a blast doing so. I have already gathered what I am going to do for my levels and discussed with my mentors how they will relate to my game. I can't wait to see the finished piece and share it with you guys and the kids. Wish me good luck!

Hello! Hay so my project just got a little side tracked with my research sooo back to the drawing board for just a little bit more. The problem was my 3 main lesson's. I tried starting my presentation going strong feeling really confident when I realized my bullying project needs a bit more research than I originally thought. I have to focus a lot more on a 3rd and 4th grade level more so my own. So for example my research on cyberbullying ( I did a lot on that subject, I thought it was interesting) won't really benefit 3rd and 4th graders because they are younger and might not really care for that kind of stuff like I do. And now with all the information I have gathered it's still not enough so back I go. Well see you next time wish me good luck!
Hey guys! I know I haven't bogged in a bit, but since then I have made a bit of progress. I have talked to my mentor ( my Dad and principle of the school I'm basing my project around.) about the actual lesson for the kids. I have started and my main lesson's or point's I'm going to make and they are: What is bullying, The effects bullying can have on others, and How to stop it. My mentor and I have put my research all together and came up with a presentation that I can present to the kids. In my presentation I'm also am going to have visuals for them to keep them at least remotely interested. I have gotten very far and to far to stop now. I'm almost to the fun and most important part in my project...... the video game.

For my 20% project my team had an idea showcase. This part in the project is when the whole team comes together in the cafetiere to show off what information we have gathered from our project so far. I made a poster summing up why I wanted to do my idea and how I got my information for it. People who came to my both were very impressed with my idea and my reasoning for doing it. I enjoyed the opportunity to show off my information and telling people what I know about my subject. There was not an question I could not answer and everyone thought I was very professional in presenting my project to them.

Starting the fun part of my project will take a lot of trial and error. My project will contain a video game that will follow my lesson plan for the little kids. To create my project, I have found this amazing website that lets you have the power to make your own video game. My video game will follow my lesson and be a fun experience for the kids to learn more about bullying while having a good time! My goal is to make the experience for the kids fun and not boring to watch and play. I will base the game off of their interests, likes and dislikes. That way, I will be able to make the lessons a little more interactive for them to learn about my topic.
